We're on the lookout for growing companies and candidates to participate in our next Jobs & Careers Fair which will be our first face-to-face event since Covid. Following the success of our previous virtual recruitment events, the team felt it was time to bring back face-to-face recruitment events.
The event will be held on the 19th of May 2023, at the Post Doc Centre at Eddington, Cambridge, from 12-4 pm. The centre is just off Madingley road and is an excellent venue with a lovely big conference room, good facilities, and free nearby parking at the Madingley Park & Ride. https://www.postdocacademy.cam.ac.uk/postdoc-centres/eddington .
Claire Angus, Head of Recruitment Gateway at Cambridge Network says "There continues to be a growing demand for recruitment focussed events from both job seekers and recruiting companies, so to answer these needs, Cambridge Network will continue to deliver recruitment fairs, connecting businesses with talent in a series of mixed virtual and face-to-face events throughout 2023 and beyond."
This event will be a traditional jobs fair, with exhibition stands with some top Cambridge employers including: ARU, Owlstone Medical, EUROAPI, SPT Labtech, Collabora, and Redgate, who'll be showcasing their current vacancies.
We'll also have a dedicated 'Careers Zone' where jobseekers will have the chance to talk to recruitment experts. InterSTEM Recruitment, Kameo Recruitment and ECM Selection will be available all day to answer any questions, offer CV tips and share interview techniques to help jobseekers land their next role.
Claire went on to say "We are really pleased to be in a physical space for our upcoming May jobs fair. After delivering our jobs fairs online successfully for the last couple of years, we are keen to get people meeting face to face again. The Postdoc Centre at Eddington is a great space, with free parking at the Madingley Park and Ride, a short walk from the venue."
Candidates and companies are signing up daily in the run-up to the event, and we are pleased to have so many jobseekers keen to meet with employers but we are keen to reach as many job seekers as possible.
