John Crawley writes: "I am on the steering group (hosted by Skills CFA) currently reviewing the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for the Prevention and Management of Violence in the Workplace. These standards describe what individuals need to do, know, and understand in order to prevent and manage violence in the workplace.
"The aim of the review is to update the existing standards so that they reflect current practice, skills and knowledge, and ensure that the functions still reflect the needs of organisations across all sectors of the UK economy.
"As part of the project, CFA have developed an online survey to gather feedback on the draft standards. We would therefore ask for your help in identifying areas of strength and improvement within the standards.
You can access the survey by clicking on this link.

"The completion of this survey should take no more than 10-15 minutes. All information provided will be treated in confidence and will not be passed onto a third party. Your responses will remain confidential so please feel free to be as open and honest as you can.
"The deadline for completion of this survey is Wednesday 27th June 2012.
"When undertaking the survey you will need to refer to the draft standards which you can download by clicking on the links below. You can download either the full suite of NOS or the individual NOS.
