The Kickstarter campaign, which offered backers the opportunity to be among the first in the country to order My First Emotions, reached its target of £5000 worth of pledges. Backers therefore helped to fund the first phase of production for My First Emotions, a new multisensory resource designed to help children from birth to three years learn to understand and manage emotions.
This exciting toolkit is set to help parents and early learning professionals across the UK teach children about emotional awareness. Using play, stories and music, it focuses on five key emotions: love, happiness, sadness, anger and fear.
Alexey Manichenko, CEO and Co-Founder of Skylark Learning, comments: “We are incredibly grateful to the backers of our Kickstarter project who helped us to reach our goal. We launched the crowdfunding campaign to fund the initial stages of production but also to gauge the public’s perception of My First Emotions – and the feedback has been fantastic!
"Our production team is currently busy preparing the items for manufacturing, printing and delivery, and customers should expect to receive their sets in September 2017. It’s an exciting time for Skylark Learning as we bring My First Emotions to market in the UK and take the business to the next level.”
Based on the latest research about emotional awareness, validation and regulation, My First Emotions will help children to develop good emotional understanding, leading to better relationships, academic achievement and essential life skills.
You can still secure an exclusive discount by pre-ordering your own My First Emotions set at the reduced cost of £49 (RRP £69) via www.skylarkenglish.com by Friday 30 June 2017.
