Cambridge University's Development and Alumni Relations office is looking for an experienced major gifts fundraiser to become part of a team supporting the University's most important initiatives. Reporting to the Director of International and Regional Programmes, this role will focus on securing philanthropic support from constituents across Europe.
The Role:
You will be an experienced fundraiser eager to secure gifts at the transformational level. Collaborative, strategic, and innovative in approach, you will have the ability to engage with high-net-worth individuals and senior staff across Collegiate Cambridge, as well as academics and other key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a high-impact fundraising strategy.
Cultivate relationships with high-net-worth individuals, corporate partners, and foundations.
Drive engagement and secure transformational philanthropic gifts.
Collaborate with senior University leaders and academic stakeholders.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in fundraising with a track record of securing major gifts.
Strong relationship-building skills with high-net-worth individuals.
Strategic thinker with the ability to innovate.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
A collaborative and motivated team player.
Willingness to travel frequently and work out of regular hours when required.
The ability to speak an additional European language is highly desirable.
