At our ARU Writtle campus, we specialise in animal, environmental, agricultural and horticultural courses, for learners aged 16 to 18, adult learners, undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

 

About the Role:

 

You’ll join a dynamic team contributing towards the successful delivery of the Team ARU strategy – our plan to significantly increase the number of people engaged in sport, recreation and wellbeing activities over the next 5 years.

 

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and resourceful individual to join our sports participation team to organise and deliver the Campus Sport programme of activities in Writtle, which are designed to increase participation in physical and recreational activities amongst staff and students, including those who are currently inactive. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of supporting students who are involved in sport, you will need to possess a passion for sport and excellent customer service.

 

You will have a positive impact on student employability as you will recruit, supervise and engage a team of student sport activators who deliver and support the promotion of the campus sport programme. sport and physical activity.

 

The role holder will either have a degree or be part qualified in a relevant professional qualification at degree level appropriate to the specific role being appointed to. Or you may have demonstrable appropriate level of experience and evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the role.
