About the Role:
Within our Employability Service, we strive to maximize student employability by expanding access to work placements, internships, and other professional experiences. We’re looking for an organized and customer-focused Placements Support Coordinator to play a crucial role in supporting our central placements team.
As a Placements Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing a variety of administrative tasks to ensure a compliant, efficient placement process. Your role will involve engaging with students, academic staff, and employers to provide information, answer inquiries, and maintain accurate records. You will work closely with our placements and employer engagement team, ensuring a seamless process from securing a placement through to the student’s return to campus. Key responsibilities include handling placement proposals, coordinating compliance documentation, maintaining systems such as InPlace and Handshake, and enhancing our outreach efforts through social media.
About You:
With a minimum of two A levels (or equivalent), you’ll bring substantial experience in administrative roles, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. You will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to process improvement. Your interpersonal skills will enable you to build effective relationships with students, staff, and external stakeholders alike.
