John* is 29. He has 5 A Levels, a degree and a Masters in Chemical Engineering. He has never experienced alcohol or drug dependency. He is ambitious, focused and positive.
In 2023, John spent three months living on the streets in Cambridge.

Tuesday 10th October 2017 is World Homelessness Day, marking the issue of global homelessness. Wintercomfort is encouraging local people to get involved, simply by putting the kettles on and getting out the croissant to support the homeless in Cambridge.

Make a Christmas dream come true
Sean was just 19 when he hit his lowest point. He'd left school with no qualifications, going straight into a job, but got heavily into drugs and became homeless. He spent the next five years moving between friends' floors, squats and the streets, his life made more difficult by bouts of depression. He didn't want support from Wintercomfort or other organisations.

From September 2012 to July 2013 Wintercomfort ran a Community Learning Innovation Fund(CLIF) project offering DIY and gardening training to homeless people in Cambridge.
