Cambridge Summer Beer Festival sets new records
The 43rd annual Cambridge Summer Beer Festival has come to a close, serving over 41,000 customers a total of 86,000 pints of beer, 13,000 pints of cider and perry, 9,300 pints of foreign beer, 1,600 bottles of wine and mead and approximately 1 tonne of cheese. Over 400 volunteers gave up their time to help, coming from as far as Canada.
Cambridge Beer Festival opens on Monday
The 43rd Cambridge Beer Festival is just around the corner. On Monday (May 23rd) at 5pm the doors will open to the public on Jesus Green and within those doors will be around 200 British real ales from over 100 breweries and 80 ciders and perries from near and far, along with the foreign bar, mead and wine.
